Painting from the 2023 Sacred Cave collection. This series of paintings was created during a two-year process of transformation and emergence from darkness. Paintings painted for months, maturing at their own pace. The layers of colors, the structures of brush and hand touches are like layers of changing days, with all their enormity of fleeting emotions, and the dust of earth pigments glues them into one whole of heavy sensual matter, rooting our human nature.
